About Us

We are a company specialising in the sale of factory matched automotive paint aimed purely for the motorcycle refinishing market. Being motorcycle painters ourselves for the past 30 years has enabled us to structure a vast data base of motorcycle colour formulations.

Our bike painting knowledge provides us with the authority to give practical and technical advice to all our customers resulting in complete peace of mind when purchasing our products.

Products range from touch up kits, aerosols, paint for spray gun use and all refinishing related items. With 30 years experience advice on a technical and practical level comes as standard.

Customers

Customers range from DIY enthusiasts to highly skilled painters in the paint shop, along with motorcycle dealers needing our products either to use or stock in the showroom.

Because all our paint is dispatched with clear, concise instructions it enables anyone to use it.

Our Paint

Specialising in providing paint for the use of restoration and repair on all types of motorcycles allows us to still sell paint in its original solvent form. We believe due to the complexity of many 3 or even 4 stage colours the use of most water based products would not be a viable option. Judging by our experience and the opinions of many end users the solvent method still holds its strength as a more cost effective way to repair motorcycle panels. We only sell high quality 2K and acrylic, polyester basecoat products etc.

The Colour Lab

The use of our in-house lab allows us to be totally independent. We do not rely on the use of car paint manufacturers paint for that "near enough match". All our paint formulations are structured at our facility using original factory motorcycle panels as our reference.

About Colours

1. What are solid gloss colours?

Solid gloss colours are straight non-metallic colours which do not require a further clear coat.

2. What are basecoats?

Metallic and pearl basecoats are a matt finish colour coat which require over coatings with a protective clearcoat.

3. What are pearl micas and candies?

These are a three stage colour comprising of a groundcoat (1), topcoat colour (2) and a protective clearcoat (3). These colours work by the groundcoat reflecting through a semi-transparent topcoat thus creating a special effect. A groundcoat is not a primer.

Our paint range covers all motorcycle manufacturers including:

Aprilia, Benelli, Bimota, BMW, Cagiva, Ducati, Moto-Guzzi, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, MV Agusta, Peugeot, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha etc
